Your First Visit
During your first visit, detailed medical history will be obtained. Dr. Vasudeva will ask you questions about any previous illnesses and medications. The answers you give may help to successfully treat your present medical condition. A physical examination, especially directed to the areas pertaining to the gastrointestinal tract, will be performed. Dr. Vasudeva will then discuss further diagnostic tests, such as laboratory studies, x-rays and endoscopic exams if needed.

Preparation For Your First Appointment
We want your appointment to go as smoothly as possible. Here are some things you can do to prepare:
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time, to allow for check-in.
  • Bring your insurance cards and your completed registration forms.
  • Bring a list of any medications (either prescription or over-the-counter) that you take.
  • Write down your most pressing concerns regarding your gastrointestinal symptoms so we can be sure to address them.
  • Be prepared at the time of the visit to pay any co-payment required by your insurance company. In addition to cash and personal checks, we accept Visa and MasterCard.


We always try to stay on time, but delays are sometimes unavoidable due to emergencies with other patients.
